untitledThe bottom-line of an Equipment Management (EM) is to make sure your  “Heavy”  can operate  in an optimum operation through its maximum  life cycle.  Every heavy equipment products and components have their expected life cycle. And it is equipment management objective which is to make sure the “heavy” meets their expected life cycle.    The next question is… how can we do  this EM?  First, having EM its not just about optimizing “heavy” performance but also about  “$” efficiency. Yes… its about reducing cost.  So first u have to make sure your EM program is combining between effective  and efficient ways together.

Remember, the key words of EM are “ Optimizing “heavy” performance, with efficient  maintenance & operation cost

Optimizing  your “Heavy” performance.

-          Make sure your heavy equipment operates in  a correct application. Fore more detail application, contact your “heavy” dealer.

-          Pay attention on a Preventive Maintenance. Also contact your heavy equipment dealer for more detail  explanation about PM.

-          Please, wash your “heavy” regularly. Believe me. It  works !!!

-          Equipment health monitoring. It means, monitor your “heavy” blood.   As you know oil is your  equipment’s blood. Pay attention to its condition regularly.

-          Do contamination control.

  1. Definitely, preventative maintenance is very very important for the life of your heavy equipment.

    Regular maintenance will help ensure a long life to your machines.

    • aggree, but remember preventive maintenance is not just replacing filter and oil. It has to be more than that. It’s about capturing the early failure and eliminate it while it is not severe. It can also be done at preventive maintenance event.
